Thank you for your support

As the TrailChasers community has grown, with social media and The TrailChasers Podcast, people have been asking how they can get involved. I am humbled by the support and feedback we have received from the off road community. With that in mind, we have started this support page. Below are ways you can contribute, support, and help the TrailChasers community and those of us that are working on TrailChasers.net.

Thank you, in advance, for all of your support.

Get Involved

The growth of the website and social media, combined with the addition of the podcast, has created a much higher demand for content and attention. This increasing need has lead me to the realization that I will probably not be able to work a full-time job, be a full-time parent, and run a full-time website/podcast all on my own. So, I need your help. If you are interested in building a brand, creating great content, and growing a community, please contact us. You can submit your info using the links below.

Video Filming and Editing:
What we Need: When we work on our vehicles or go on trail runs, we always have a camera rolling. Unfortunately, reviewing the raw footage and creating a good video takes time, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to find the time to do it. So, if you want to help film our adventures and use the content to create videos, we want to hear from you.

What's In It For You:

  • You get to hang out with us...so, win for you!

  • You will get full credit for all media you create.

  • We will help promote your personal webpage, portfolia, and/or services through the website, social media, and pocast.

  • A bio page on the TrailChasers website.

What's Required:

  • The software and ability to view, edit, and create videos.

  • Preferrably some camera/video equipment, but not absolutely necessary.

  • Preferrably an off road vehicle (so you can join us on runs), but again, not absolutely necessary.

  • Participation in Team Meetings (via Skype, Google Hang Out, or other) and Team Events.

Podcast Production and Coordination:
What we Need: The hardest part about the podcast isn't doing the show, it's trying to coordinate schedules with the guests. Then, once the show is ready to release, we need help with the promotion/marketing. Are you a schedule making, communicating, ducks-in-a-rowing type of person? Than I want to talk to you.

What's In It For You:

  • You get to listen to all of the podcasts...so, win for you!

  • You can potentially earn the title of "PRODUCER" of the show and that will look good on a resume.

  • You will help shape the show and help it grow in to a larger part of the off road community.

  • A bio page on the TrailChasers website.

What's Required:

  • The ability to connect to on-line services and use office documents (Excel, Word, Google Docs, Etc).

  • Good communication skills (written/verbal) and willingness to reach out to people in the community.

  • Preferrably a member of the off road community and social media circles.

  • Participation in Team Meetings (via Skype, Google Hang Out, or other) and Team Events.

Creating Blog Content:
What we Need: We have this blog attached to the website and right now, it kinda just sits there. I would love for the blog to get regular updates with relevent content. I would also like the blog to be a place to highlight the guests we have on the podcast. Whether it be through transcribing the podcast or just more details about who they are. If you have always wanted to get your words out in to the world but didn't have aplace to do it, let us be that place.

What's In It For You:

  • You get to hang out with us...so, win for you! (you see the theme by now)

  • You will get full credit for all content you create.

  • We will help promote your personal webpage, portfolia, and/or services through the website, social media, and pocast.

  • A bio page on the TrailChasers website.

What's Required:

  • The software and ability to write blog posts and share them through email, Dropbox, or Google Docs.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • A passion for the off road industry, community, and people.

  • The ability to find news stories, events, and information and turn them in to interesting, engaging stories to be shared on the blog.

  • Participation in Team Meetings (via Skype, Google Hang Out, or other) and Team Events.

Event/Trail Run Coordination:
What we Need: We have some ideas for some really fun events. Not just trail runs, but full-on events. We want to create the next "Annual Event That All Wheelers MUST Attend." But, that doesn't happen without some brainstorming, phone calls, coordination, and people willing to work the event. It would be awesome to be able to put on an event that helps support local charities or highlights a very worthy cause. would you like to help with that?

What's In It For You:

  • You get to hang out with us...so, win for you! (the theme continues)

  • You will get to help decide how the events are run, who is involved, and how they can benefit the community.

  • You get the personal satisfaction of bringing people in the off road community together for fun, for freindship, and for good causes.

  • A bio page on the TrailChasers website.

What's Required:

  • The ability to connect to on-line services and use office documents (Excel, Word, Google Docs, Etc).

  • An off road vehicle (to participate in the events)

  • Good communication skills (written/verbal) and willingness to reach out to people in the community.

  • Preferrably a member of the off road community and social media circles.

  • Participation in Team Meetings (via Skype, Google Hang Out, or other) and Team Events.

Mobile App Development:

What we Need: We have a website, a podcast, and a bunch of other things coming up. We want to put all of this stuff in the hands of our community using the one thing they can't live without...their mobile device. Eventhough I am the geekiest person I know, I am no where near cool enough to be able to bang out code for a mobile app. If you are that person, let's talk.

What's In It For You:

  • You get to hang out with us...so, win for you! (seriously, we can be a lot of fun)

  • You will get to help create a mobile app that could potentially reach thousands of people and get credit for your work.

  • You get the opoortunity to shape how the mobile app will help grow the TrailChasers brand and ultimately, the TrailChasers community.

  • A bio page on the TrailChasers website.

What's Required:

  • The software and ability to create applications for the Android and iOS platforms.

  • Experience with application deployment and release (Google Play / Apple Store).

  • Preferrably a member of the off road community and social media circles.

  • Participation in Team Meetings (via Skype, Google Hang Out, or other) and Team Events.

Is There Any Pay...NO.

Will there be any pay in the future...Honestly, probably not.

  • Everything that is being done on the TrailChasers site is an out-of-pocket expense. We have some ideas for sponsorships and fund raisers in the future, but I can't honestly say that I see a path to the "amazing riches of the internet" any time soon.

  • I expect that there will be other benefits; swag, recognition, exposure to the community, participation in off road events, and the ability to participate in the creation of a brand. Things like that.

  • But, if you are interested in submitting your information for any of the roles above, know that you are doing it for the love of the community, the thrill of the challenge, and the satisfaction of the personal growth.

I thuroughly enjoy developing content for this page and producing The TrailChasers podcast. I do it because I love the off road community and this is the best way for me to connect with other like-minded people and share their stories. With that said, there is definitely some out-of-pocket costs associated with running this site. If you are so inclined, I would grately appreciate your assistance with these costs. Please keep in mind, I will continue doing this as long as it is possible for me to do so, but any support I get from the community will only help it grow bigger and keep it going longer. Please use the link to visit our Patreon page. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the show on a monthly basis, and for doing so, we'll send you some swag!

Thank you, so much, for your help

Make a Donation

Sometimes, people are compelled to give to other people as a way to show appreciation. If you are one of those people, and you want to give back to us, we appreciate it. Your donation will go to help "keep the lights on" by paying for media and web hosting. If those costs get covered, we can work on getting better equipmen to increase the quality of the podcast. If, some how we get beyond that, we will find ways build the community.
